Okay, here’s the deal. I do all the copy and paste edits while at work. Today, I got them done, but forgot to get them home (bad me!). So tomorrow there will be 6 edits. cool? cool.

So, here we are. The story arc where Zeke learns to hate humans. I had some fun with it, and it wouldn’t be a B^Uckley story without some massive, gaping plot holes.

So…Many…Words. There are less now, I hope that helps. Since the previous strip established that he’s looking to find his name, I didn’t think we needed 3 whole panels shoving it in our faces.

Okay, first things first. This is Lilah’s first appearance.  This is the first appearance of Zeke, the x-bot robot, almost 10 months later. This strip takes place about 6 months after that. How fuck does Lilah not know Ethan has a robot? You’d think that’s be something she would notice. Unless, she’s like the dumbest character in the whole goddamn comic (more so than Ethan, and that’s saying a lot).

Oh Ethan, you tried to report a robot to the missing persons hot line, that’s not for robots, silly. Yet now it’s done in 1 panel. Just saving you some time jackass.

Ahh, cynicism one of my favorite kind of punchlines. Fret not CAD readers, there’s a boob joke too! Everybody wins!

I know it’s late, but never say I didn’t do nothing for you jerks.

Wordswordswords, there are less now. Oh, and one strip Ethan is an idiot, next he’s a competent robot mechanic? Way to write consistently.

Not a whole lot to say here.

And now he’s back to being a moron. I don’t mind if you write a dumb character, or a smart character, or even an average Joe character. just keep your character CONSISTENT YOU MORON.

C ya Monday.

Man, I never know what to write up here. Here’s another round of edits. Enjoy!

See, it just sounds weird.

My name is Ethan, and I’m and alcoholic. Also, I like the whole subtext between Jay (the delivery guy, who strangely has a name on his tag where as every one else in the strip never does. I guess if you deliver beer you’re really important to Tim) and Lucas in the last panel. I imagine the looks are conveying this:

Jay: Seriously?

Lucas: Every…Fucking…Day

Two things:

1) I’m a big fan of self deprecating humor

2) I guess Tim could actually take a joke back in the day, I wonder what happened to that?

Awwww, the robot thinks he’s people. I know there’s an arc coming up about this very subject, can’t wait to tackle that.

Additional, I’ve decided to just skip over the non-character based strips, unless i think it’s easily fixable with editing. Most of them are just not funny, and pretty beyond help.

10 Posts! WOO! that’s like 30 – some – odd strips edited. Also! Remember what I said yesterday? About today having more fruitful results? I was RIGHT. Let’s take a look, shall we?

Thus begins our decent into Lucas as a monster. In two panels he: Doesn’t care that his best friend is in prison, makes no attempt to help, and is generally upset that he even has to deal with the situation, much to Liliah’s Surprise. I also like how Ethan just blurts out his impending doom.

Original

Now Lucas has bailed his friend out, and what’s the first thing Ethan does? Try to avoid paying him back. Oh, Ethan, you crazy guy. We  can see why Lucas is such an ass about all this. I would be too.

Here’s a little shout out to all the Goons that read this (who the fuck am I kidding the ONLY people that follow this are goons). I also like the fact that it’s standard procedure to hassle the shit out of every customer. I can just imagine a poster in the back that reads something like:

ALL EMPLOYEES MUST FOLLOW THESE RULES:

1) Give every paying customer as much shit as possible

2) Should aforementioned customer stay, begrudgingly fix their PC, but give them some shit about it

3) ???

4) Profit!!!

See you jerks tomorrow.

Or see that one really devoted guy responsible for all my hits tomorrow (hi dude).

I’m really glad that he goes to jail over this…spoiler alert?

The banter wasn’t TOO horrible in this one, but I did what I could. hopefully tomorrow will yield more fruitful results.

So, by Tomorrow, I meant Monday. I know I said I’d try  and update every day, but I work full time. So I like to just sit and relax on my weekend. I’m going to try and get the weekend updates done during the week, but I’m not going to make any promises. I’ll still do Mon-Fri though.

I’ve developed a pretty bad habit doing this. Fortunately it only pertains to C-A-D. The bad habit? I just start reading past the extraneous dialogue, only reading points, and jokes…

Maybe that’s a good habit to have when CAD is concerned.

My Lucas is totally unfit for employment due to the face that he’s such an elitist (31337-ist?) snob he talks down to anyone who isn’t as well versed in computers as he is. Which is funny, because if you did know enough about computers to meet Lucas’  retarded standards you wouldn’t need him to fix your PC.

I have nothing to say here…See you tomorrow?
